No man is an island

Well ...
Today, I am completely frustrated .... I am juggling so many new things now with my website(s). They are all so different and require varied levels of expertise.  So with some of my sites I have a little back-end help.  People that help me do programming & stuff like that.

Anyhow, Late last year, I was looking to develop & host a flash site for my portfolio work (my tiffanynicolla.com website ) .  My friend Greg ( also a dear friend & a photographer )  referred me to Illusive Design  .  He raved SO much about them and his simple straight-forward website design was exactly what I had in mind for my site, so I ask him for their contact information.
I emailed the company and received a prompt, courteous and helpful representative.  He was so professional and knowledgeable about my needs/concerns.
I had already mentally designed my site, ( from the exact site requirements to pages, gallery layouts, , colorschemes, fonts, everything .... so I basically just need a company that understood my vision well enough to implement it.  After speaking with my project manager about the details of my new project, I immediately decided to hire them to execute it.

Well ... ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE that knows me, knows that I am SUPER PROFESSIONAL and a PERFECTIONIST,  down to the very last detail....  almost to the point of being anal. YUP, that's one thing you've gotta know about me.  I want what I want and I want it EXACTLY HOW I WANT IT .. no bullshit.
Anyhow ... the GREAT professionalism and straight-forward communication with my project manager went " out the window" within a matter of weeks ( pretty much right after they were paid).   YES .... I said it, OUT the window !!
Maybe you get what you pay for, dunno ???
I'd sent several emails with specific guidelines to follow or specific questions about how things work, etc. and only 50% of the email would be read or addressed in the response .. which meant re-addressing these very same concerns in a new email.
So after re-typing the same thing , I decided to use CAPITOL letters, to be sure that he didn't over look my concerns.
It's so freakin' annoying to type an email and have only half of your questions answered. Especially when it's business.  I mean it's not like I have a personal relationship with these people.  My sole concern is the business that I have with them.
WHAT a major waste of time .... argggggggg!!!
He had the audacity to mail ME with this :
"Thank you for the extensive use of capitol letters. It helps when reading emails. ......... If you want those folder names changed it can be done, however it is essentially pointless and it will be charged by the hour for the adjustment. Estimated at around 1 hour ($40)As I said in my previous email "
This is the C.E.O. of a company ..
What do you guys think?? Am I over-reacting here ?  He actually had the nerve to say "as I said in a previous email" ...  Just forget about the 20 or so emails that I've sent in t he past 4 months, where only HALF of my email was addressed in the response!
I just want to scream right now, it's 6 am  .... I'm on my way to the gym & now Im all pissed off cuz of an email that I got from my hosting company this morning.  I've gone through this for years ... which reminds me .. that No man is an island ... we all need each other.
So, I'll try to spend the greater part of my morning figuring out my lesson in all of this drama ...

And YOU my friends .. have a fantastic day!

Smooches!
